The GCS Approach
Behind the business is me, Toby Guilder, a carpenter, based in Salisbury with my family. I'm fully qualified, bringing over twenty years’ experience providing skilled carpentry services. GCS will apply these to agricultural, equestrian and residential external environments. GCS will also undertake private commissions to order on more bespoke carpentry solutions.

The Process
Once you've got in touch by email or phone, the process is very simple. we will arrange the following with you:
- A mutually convenient time to discuss your requirements (this is generally onsite with you where the work is to take place
- Check arrangements for access or security if relevant
- Listen to your instructions, take photos and measurements for materials to help build a quote
- Provide a written quote (generally by email) and if you are happy to proceed, check our first available date for starting and book this in with you
- Once the job is completed, GSC will bill for immediate settlement for goods/materials and services (NB. subject to the extent/cost of materials GSC may request payment for materials upon delivery)
All work is carried out with reference to GSC’s Terms & Conditions – please ensure you read these on our website.

- City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 and 3 – Carpentry and Joinery (Construction) – Ref 00004335
- Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) – Gold (Reg No. 00004335 (Expiry Dec 2020)
- City & Guilds - NPTC Level 2 Award - Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-Cutting
- Forklift licence (counter balance)
- 7.5 tonne full clean drivers licence with tachograph experience, CPC qualified.
- Security cleared
