Fencing
Close board fencing
Fencing can take all sorts of shapes and forms. Whether you are looking for boundary fencing to provide privacy around your property, or to secure your property to a road, path or neighbour - close board fencing offers a very good option. I use quality treated timber, available in standard heights (or I can customise for you if bespoke height needed). All my timber comes from trusted local suppliers, to meet your personal needs. I can also advise you on suitable options if you are unsure.
Fencing
Picket fencing and gates
Fencing can take all sorts of shapes and forms. If you are looking at garden fencing which creates a division but still allows you to see through the fence to capture a view (perhaps to open countryside), then an attractive picket fence might be the ideal solution. I use quality treated timber, available in standard heights. I can also offer guidance if you are unsure what to use. All my timber comes from trusted local suppliers, to meet your personal needs.
Fencing
Post and rail fencing
With so much beautiful landscape around us in Wiltshire, if you have a garden that looks across open countryside, a suitable option may be to have some post and rail fencing. This can create a visual break to define a managed domestic garden from rural fields beyond. There are various types of post and rail fencing combinations. Also, if you have livestock, or pets, stock proof fencing can be added to keep animals in/out as desired. All my timber comes from trusted local suppliers, to meet your personal needs. Talk to me to discuss your needs and I can offer advice on options and styles.
Sleepers
Timber sleeper landscaping
When landscaping a garden, one of the challenges often faced is how to deal with varying ground levels. To make the best use of space and to create an interesting contrast - whether your garden is mainly for entertaining, or simply to relax in - one option can be to install treated timber hardwood or softwood sleepers. These can act as steps, maximising access and use of space and light. Sleepers can be mixed with drainable surface materials like gravel or scalpings. They are also ideal for creating attractive and accessible new planting areas to add colour, height and texture contrast to suit the light and space.
Fencing
Estate fencing
Estate fencing offers a very traditional and elegant look and feel to gardens and grounds. Often associated with country parks and rural estates, it offers a practical and long lasting fencing option for both domestic and rural environments. The attractive powder black metal estate fencing or galvanised fence panels are sourced from specialist suppliers. Give me a ring to discuss your needs and I can offer advice on different options available.
Gates
Entrance gates
Designed to provide access and complete your boundary security, entrance gates can be grand or simple affairs. They are widely available in hardwood or softwood and can be either of solid construction for added security, or be open in style, like the 5-bar gate models marking entrances but offering a view to the approach to the property.
Please ring to discuss your needs and I will gladly offer advice on different options available.
ELECTRIC GATES: I do not offer installation services for electric or automated gates. These are for specialist gate installers.
Gates
Garden gates
Garden gates mark the entrance to your property, or provide an access point out of your garden.
Garden gates can be sturdy and solid, made from hardwood for longer durability, or from treated softwood. Alternatively, they can provide simple access to your path and house.
Gates come pre-made in a variety of shapes and sizes which I source from my local timber suppliers. Alternatively, if the gate or opening is an unusual dimension, I can make up a customised gate to suit your specification and install on site.
Decking
Garden decking
Decking has become very popular in the last twenty years as people seek to create distinctive spaces in their garden, to define an area for entertainment or contemplation.
Timber decking remains incredibly popular and is a durable material to use.
Composite decking can also provide an alternative that offers choice of material and colour.
